The Annual Strategy Report for the Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) outlines key initiatives aimed at deepening ties between young leaders in Australia and India. It highlights youth-led innovations, strategic insights, and the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in strengthening bilateral relations.

Challenge

Evolving the Brand: Striking the right balance between preserving AIYD’s established brand identity and introducing elements that bring freshness and relevance.

Engaging Diverse Audiences: Crafting content that resonates with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, from policymakers and industry leaders to young change-makers.

Clarity in Complexity: Presenting research, data, and strategy in a clear and visually compelling manner without oversimplifying the substance.

Design Approach

The design approach focused on evolving AIYD’s brand language while staying true to its core identity. The visual framework embraced simplicity and elegance, using deliberate typography, a modernized color palette, and thoughtful data visualizations. By maintaining a clean, intuitive layout, we ensured the report was both professional and engaging, with a design that complements the depth of its content.

 

My Role

As the Lead Visual Designer for the report, I was responsible for shaping the visual identity of the project. My focus was on refining the brand's aesthetic, ensuring that the new visual elements seamlessly integrated with AIYD’s existing identity. This involved developing cohesive layouts, designing data visualizations, and enhancing readability through a balanced use of typography and color, all while staying true to the project’s strategic objectives.
